# Tynefield Farm ## Posts - [March Newsletter](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/march-newsletter/): It’s been eventful both personally as well as professionally on the farm this month! From celebrating pancake day (once a week at least in this house!), Flav’s birthday and Mother’s Day, there have been lots of family get-togethers. Our exciting partnership with Natty’s Jerk was confirmed with their introduction of our jumbo jerk sausage to their menu. People are really enjoying them and Flav’s been working hard to keep up demand, which we love to see! If you haven’t tried it yet you can head to their restaurants in Portsmouth, Chichester, Southampton (Ageas Bowl) or the recently re-launched Bournemouth spot. […] - [February Newsletter](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/february-newsletter/): A belated start to the newsletters in 2025 thanks to the busyness of ‘farm-butchery-family’ life! Nevertheless, the regular monthly newsletters will be back from here on in. The farm has been gloomy as you’d expect – rain, mud, a bit of sun, more rain, more mud. This has been the theme of 2025 so far but we’re hoping the worst is past us now. Luckily for us we had a well-timed honeymoon/family holiday in Jamaica for some much needed sun. Sorry to say though, that we haven’t brought the weather back with us! The sun keeps making odd appearances but […] - [December Newsletter](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/december-newsletter/): The big day is finally here! All the pigs in blanket mayhem, gammon curing and bacon slicing has finally come to an end. The Christmas boxes all got to their new homes in one piece. We’ll now be taking a bit of a break to spend time with each other over this festive period, especially now not-so-little Noah is more aware of what’s going on. I’ll obviously still have to deal with our ginger friends but it’ll be minimal – feeding and bedding up…unless of course they decide to go for a Boxing Day walk on Whiteley Lane! Thank you […] - [November Newsletter](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/november-newsletter/): The clocks have gone back, we have less daylight, and the cold weather is upon us! I always wish summer was as punctual as autumn & winter. The farm has been at its busiest recently, which is certainly a good thing despite the reduced sleeping hours. The butchery is finally earning its keep with all our produce being processed on site now. I finally caved in a got a pair of helping hands in the form of Tom, who’s been a blessing to us since he started on the farm. I’ve been able to take a step back from the […] - [September/October Newsletter](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/september-october-newsletter/): A double newsletter this time as we were waiting to make an announcement…we have our Tamworth Christmas Boxes available for pre order on the online shop! We’ve been busy curing bacon, gammons and making pigs in blankets ready for the festive season. For those that can’t wait until the big day, there’ll be some gammon and pigs in blanket in stock towards the end of the month to whet your appetites. On the farm, things have been ticking along steadily. We’ve had a few litters of ginger ninjalets born recently in our igloo-looking huts, which are insulated making them nice […] - [August Newletter](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/august-newletter/): Apologies for the belated August newsletter. We had the biggest event of our lives at the end of the month which had us (Nikki) preoccupied for a while – WE GOT MARRIED! For a day that takes months/years to organise, it went way too quickly! And Flav was back to a reality of escapee ginger ninjas very quickly the next day with a thumping headache. Aside from the amazing day at the end of August, the rest of the month was filled a bit more family time as we had a few hog-roast-free weekends. Flav has also been battling with […] - [July Newsletter](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/july-newsletter/): Summer seems to have (more or less) held up in July, and for us that means lots of events! We have been spending most of our weekends this month at various events such as work socials, a christening party and a Kenyan Festival cooking up our special ginger ninja pork for delighted guests. We also visited one of our favourite markets at Trenchmore Farm enjoying the live music and vibes alongside some other fantastic vendors. This market has been growing over the years which we love to see. On the farm we have had lots of new ginger ninjalets being […] - [June Newsletter](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/june-newsletter/): It’s been a busy month at Tynefield Farm, with hog roast season plodding along nicely. Flavian had the pleasure of catering for our first wedding in Sussex as well as a local birthday party amongst other events. We also returned to our friend’s PYO farm in Oxford for the first time this year to do a hog roast – we’ll be back there in July. Summer seems to have finally arrived. The cows tend to seek shade by under the overhanging branches of the woodland trees, a mixture of hazel and oak. The goats have got their routine down to […] - [May Newsletter](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/may-newsletter/): May Newsletter HAPPY ONE YEAR TO US!!! We’ve now been at Tynefield Farm for just over a year – time certainly flies when you’re having fun! It’s been a roller coaster to say the least but we’re still here a year on with plenty going on at the farm. Our market towards the end of last month at Trenchmore Farm in Sussex went very well! It was good to see many familiar faces and returning customers who we hope are now hooked on our pork. Highlights for customers included dry cured bacon, meaty ribs, chops and sausages. The hog roasting […] - [April Newsletter](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/april-newsletter/): Spring has officially sprung here at Tynefield Farm, the bluebells in our woodland are now coming thick and fast! Our sheep have returned from their holiday in Kent, where our friends Chris and Zoe had kindly taken them off our hands for a while. Some headed off to market (we took advantage of the unusually high lamb prices), and the rest returned here, looking in great condition after some TLC and good grazing. The sheep we brought back were gifted to Noah before he was born by friends James and Tara; we’re hoping to breed from them later in the […] - [March Newsletter](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/where-quality-meets-tradition/): It’s been a busy and exciting month here at Tynefield Farm, both personally and in the running of the farm. Our young son Noah has been coming on leaps and bounds since he’s recently been weaned off of the oxygen, which he has needed since his birth in September. We have also heard the patter of other tiny feet with the birth of two new litters of piglets (aka ginger ninjalets) who made their arrival just a few days ago. We have been working on securing our fences as the resident foxes have been taking an interest in the new […] ## Pages - [Blog](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/tynefield/blog/) - [Checkout](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/my-account/checkout/) - [Cart](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/my-account/cart/) - [Login Page](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/login-page/) - [Contact Us](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/tynefield/contact-us/) - [Livestock](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/tynefield/livestock/) - [My account](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/my-account/) - [Gallery](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/tynefield/gallery/) - [Shop](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/tynefield/shop/) - [About Us](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/tynefield/about-us/) - [Home](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/) - [Shop coming soon](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/tynefield/shop-coming-soon/) ## Products - [Natty's Tamworth Jerk Sausages](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/product/nattys-tamworth-jerk-sausages/): We've teamed up with Natty's Jerk to create the ultimate jerk sausage. It’s known for its rich flavour with lower cholesterol and fat in comparison to beef and lamb. This means that its cooking requires low heat and needs to be slow to avoid loosing its moisture and tenderness. Our goats are as free range as can be. This means that apart from water and minerals, they find their own food in our woodlands, hedges and fields. During the winter, we provide them with hay or haylage made from our grass as supplementary feed. These rich goat shanks are packed full of gelatinous sinew and highly worked muscles which turn into melt-in-your-mouth goodness when slow cooked in a curry or a casserole. - [Tamworth Dry Cured Unsmoked Gammon Hock](https://tynefieldfarm.co.uk/product/tamworth-dry-cured-unsmoked-gammon-hock/): An underrated pork cut that is packed full of flavour!
