A Kenyan-Inspired Farm-to-Plate Pig Butchery & BBQ Experience.

Guided by Flavian aka The Kenyan Pig Farmer, you’ll get hands-on with our rare breed Tamworth pigs, see how they’re reared, learn how to break down a carcass into primals, roasting joints, BBQ cuts & make sausages to take home.

The day will involve the following activities:

  • Breakfast on arrival
  • A tour of the farm
  • Carcass breakdown
  • Sausage making
  • A Kenyan-themed BBQ lunch
  • Head home with approx. 1/4 of a pig’s worth of meat & sausages

During the Kenyan-themed BBQ, you’ll experience different ways of cooking various parts of a Tamworth pig, accompanied with Kenyan BBQ staples.

This unique immersive masterclass will incorporate provenance, skill & flavour. It’s a chance to experience the concept of ‘Farm-to-Plate’ first hand – led by Flavian; the farmer, the butcher & the cook. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how your pork is produced, delicious free range & soy free Tamworth products for your freezer & a full belly.

Each masterclass will only have a maximum of 4 people to ensure more hands-on opportunity.
